Mycotherapy

What dose should I take to be therapeutically effective?

Focus on Oncology

Accompanying people with cancer who are being treated with chemotherapy or radiotherapy is a priority for us. The products we use are manufactured by the Hifas da Terra laboratory, which specializes in mycotherapy. Located in Spain, this company is a pioneer in the study and development of natural medicine therapies based on mushrooms. They have developed a range of products specially designed for cancer patients. Naturopaths, pharmacists, biologists, and oncologists have studied the interactions of active compounds for a long time in order to propose natural solutions for cancer patients. Hifas la Terra handles medical research and clinical studies. They produce their own mushrooms in the best biological conditions. They have organic labels and meet GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards to ensure consistent quality from January to December. The products are vegan and non-GMO.
To relieve symptoms related to these very invasive therapies, I use their "mico-onco" synergy of 4 mushrooms, in monodose (1 dose per day), which is very concentrated:
  • Coriolus versicolor for its cytotoxic properties, essential to fight against cancers
  • Mataké is essential for chemotherapy thanks to its specific action on the regression of cancers.
  • Reishi for its apoptotic capacity and for its interest in maintaining homeostasis
  • Agaricus blazei is known for its angiogenic properties. It also acts on appetite, stabilizes mood, and reduces hair loss.
Some mushrooms, in addition to those mentioned above, are indicated in specific cases. In the case of breast cancer, I use the "mico-mama" product because it contains polypores in addition to the 4 mushrooms mentioned above. For prostate cancer, the "mico-men" will be valued because it contains oyster mushrooms, which are more suitable for treating this type of cancer. For lung cancer, "mico-Pne" will be used because it contains cordiceps and shiitake. For cancers involving the entire digestive system (mouth, stomach, and intestines), "mico-digest" will be used because it contains Hericium and oyster mushrooms. The dosage is one dose per day, or two if the cancer is in an advanced stage. Studies have shown that patients undergoing chemo and/or radiation therapy respond better to their treatment if they take reishi. Other benefits have also emerged:
  • Increase in lymphocytes
  • Improved quality of life
  • Reduction of nausea and insomnia
There is no competition between mycotherapy and traditional anti-cancer treatments. Mycotherapy allows patients to improve their comfort and resistance to heavy treatments. It potentiates and supports chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or hormonal therapy by reducing the side effects. Mushrooms alone do not cure cancers, but they have a real synergistic effect on traditional treatments.
